Enjoy Dom Pérignon vintages with Emirates

23 Jul 2015
Guests flying first class with Emirates will soon be able to enjoy Dom Pérignon vintage champagnes on select routes, such as Hong Kong to Dubai. Two rare vintages will be available, including Dom Pérignon Vintage 2005 (a spicy wine with a strong character) and Dom Pérignon Vintage Rosé 2003 (an intense, unique flavour born from a harsh winter). Emirates will also be introducing a Champagne pairing menu developed in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Pascal Tingaud, chef de cuisine at Dom Pérignon. The menu will consist of six carefully designed canapés, including cured duck with saffron poached peach; charcoal cracker topped with ash goat’s cheese and quince jelly; and mixed sesame coated tuna with wasabi mayonnaise. “We have worked hard to fine-tune a culinary match with the exclusive Dom Pérignon Vintage Rosé 2003," commented Joost Heymeijer, senior vice president of catering at Emirates. "We place great emphasis on creating an experience onboard that our customers will cherish, and hope this new offering will help meet the high standards they have come to expect from Emirates”.
