Singapore Airlines’ Krisflyer FFP partners with Vistara

Just days after it emerged that Singapore Airlines' (SIA) Krisflyer programme had partnered with Scoot and Tigerair (see here), the frequent flyer programme (FFP) has also announced plans to join with Vistara. Krisflyer membership cards The partnership between Krisflyer and Club Vistara enable members of both FFPs to earn and redeem points when travelling on flights operated by both SIA and Vistara. Accrual and redemption opportunities are also possible for flights with SIA’s regional carrier, Silk Air. The partnership is set to commence in March with the ability to accrual miles and points. Redemption, meanwhile, will be made available in May. Benefits afforded by Club Vistara tiers This is Vistara's first partnership with another airline. The SIA and Tata Sons joint venture carrier began operations last month (see here), and now flies domestically from its base in Delhi. “We are pleased to enter into this strategic partnership with Singapore Airlines’ Krisflyer programme, which widens the choices and benefits for Club Vistara members. We are confident that through SIA and their sister airline SilkAir’s well-connected network from India, we will be able to broaden our reach and strengthen the value proposition for Club Vistara members,” said Vistara’s chief executive Phee Teik Yeoh.
