Fire grounds all flights at Chicago airports

26 Sep 2014 by GrahamSmith
A fire at an air traffic control tower has grounded all flights in and out of Chicago's O'Hare and Midway airports. More than 300 hundred flights had been cancelled by 0730 local time. Both facilities remain closed as fire fighters tackle the blaze, the Federal Aviation Administration has said. The Chicago Tribune has reported that fire crews found a man with self-inflicted wounds in the basement of the air traffic control tower. faa.gov Graham Smith
