AA to revamp Heathrow lounges

5 Apr 2009 by Mark Caswell
American Airlines is to renovate its Admirals Club and Flagship lounges at London Heathrow’s T3. The phased revamp (during which time the existing lounges will remain open) is due to be completed in 2010, and will see the Admirals Club Lounge benefitting from a reconfigured layout, which AA says will provide “a more open and spacious feeling”. There will be new shower suites, a children’s TV room, complimentary wifi internet access, a cyber cafe, and an improved business centre. Meanwhile the Flagship Lounge will more than double in size to 8,000 square feet, with seating for 134 passengers. Again there will be new shower facilities and free wifi, as well as two lounges with flatscreen TVs. AA’s Heathrow lounges are located by Gate H in Terminal 3 – for more information on terminal developments at Heathrow, read the report in the April edition of Business Traveller.
