Hilton has opened a dual-brand property in Calgary, offering 320 rooms and serviced apartments.
The Hilton Garden Inn Calgary Downtown and Homewood Suites Calgary Downtown share a building within walking distance of Calgary’s business district, the Calgary Riverwalk and St. Patrick’s Island, but each brand has its own entrance, lobby and dining area.
Room features at the Garden Inn include a 47-inch TV, work desk, ergonomic chair and in-room “hospitality centre” with a mini fridge, microwave oven and coffee maker.
The Garden Grille and Bar offers breakfast, dinner, cocktails and evening room service to all Garden Inn guests.
Homewood Suites Calgary Downtown has studio and one-bedroom apartments featuring a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker and twin-burner stove as well as a dining area, sleeper sofa and desk with an ergonomic chair. Breakfast and grocery shopping services are complimentary.
Rooms come with free wifi, access to the hotel’s indoor pool, fitness centre and 24-hour business centre with complimentary printing, fax and copy machines as well as access to the Pavilion Pantry for 24-hour snacks, drinks and microwavable items.
The property also has 919 sqm of meeting space that can accommodate up to 200 people and a rooftop terrace with views of the Rockies.
Rates start at C$149 (£88) per night at both hotels.
