Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) has partnered with Al Rawabi Regional Company for Hotels, Resorts and Tourism to open a new property in Saudi Arabia.

A 25-minute drive from King Khalid International Airport, Intercontinental Durrat Al Riyadh is in close proximity to King Abdullah Financial District and a few luxury shopping malls of the region. Set up on a 1,54,000 sqm of lush green space, the property features 152 well-equipped rooms and ten private chalets.

Guests will be able to choose from five dining options. Recreational amenities will include an outdoor and indoor pool, a fitness centre, a tennis court, a spa, a kid’s club and miniature golf.

Focusing on the MICE aspect, this IHG resort will offer a business centre, seven meeting rooms and a banquet room.

Meanwhile, IHG is also gearing up to launch the biggest property yet under its new upmarket Voco brand in Saudi Arabia. The 4200-key Voco Makkah in Mecca, Saudi Arabia is scheduled to open in early 2020.
