
GCP Hospitality has opened Residence G, a lifestyle serviced residence and hotel, in Shenzhen.
The property is located in the heart of the Nanshan district, around a 50-minute drive from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, 30 minutes ferry ride away from Hong Kong International Airport, and a 40-minute drive from Lohu train station.
The surrounding area is home to several sightseeing locations such as Coastal City, Sea World and Nanshan Park.

There are 178 rooms, ranging from 32-sqm studios to a 174-sqm three-bedroom apartment.
The modern European-designed rooms are equipped with high-tech touches including complimentary wifi, internet protocol TVs and E-readers for guests to access over 5,700 newspapers and magazines.
A “G Pillow menu” and Metis Daily Solutions bathroom amenities are also provided.

The property features a two-floor G Club.
On level 10, “Energy” offers sports, wellness and entertainment facilities, including a 25-metre swimming pool, gym, yoga/pilates room, multi-purpose courts for basketball and table tennis, as well as an open-air terrace with a panoramic city view.

Meanwhile, The Clubhouse on Level 11 features a restaurant and lounge serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The space has a variety of seating set-ups to suit different needs, along with a bar area, three TVs and a communal table.
This floor also houses two meeting rooms, Retreat I and II, providing visionary boards, projectors, minibars and wifi for groups of up to ten.

In Asia, GCP Hospitality’s properties has opened hotels in Singapore, Myanmar, Thailand and Hong Kong (Bay Bridge Hong Kong has relaunched in 2015 after an extensive renovation). The group will take further steps into Macau and China this year.
