The Hyatt Regency brand has come to Xiamen following the opening of the Hyatt Regency Xiamen Wuyuanwan in the city’s newly developed central business district.

The new property is part of an upscale multifunctional complex comprising retail, F&B, entertainment and commercial spaces, and is situated near to the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center and a few minutes’ drive from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport.

The 301 rooms and suites at the hotel range in size from 45 to 208 sqm, with many featuring views of Wuyuan Bay and the city. Rooms come with wifi access, bathrooms with separate a bath tub and rain shower, a 48-inch LCD TV and Bluetooth audio equipment.

In addition to nearby dining options, four F&B outlets exist in the hotel, including an all-day international buffet restaurant, a signature Cantonese, Min and Teochew restaurant, a dim sum and noodles restaurant – appropriately named Noodles – and the lounge.

Other facilities include in excess of 2,500 sqm of meetings and events space, a 200 sqm outdoor lawn by the pool and a 450 sqm ballroom. For guests looking for recreational options, the hotel has a jogging route along the Wuyuan Bay Wetland Park, a 24-hour gym with studio spaces and fitness classes, and an outdoor pool.
