The debut property from The Crown Group’s new hotel brand, Skye Hotel Suites, is nearing completion, with its Sydney opening set to take place early this year.

The hotel will feature 72 luxury suites overlooking Sydney, set within a new 28-storey V by Crown Group residential and commercial development described as a “vertical village” in the city’s Parramatta district. According to the group, Skye Hotel Suites will combine the service of a boutique hotel with the amenities of a luxury property, the spaciousness of a local apartment and the relaxation of a resort property.

Rooms will be offered in one- and two-bedroom suites. Meanwhile leisure facilities within the hotel will include a resort-style swimming pool, sauna, fitness centre and an alfresco dining and retail piazza. For corporate travellers and groups, a business centre and conference room facilities are also available.

On the property’s 26th floor will also be a bar with an open-air terrace offering 270-degree views of the city, the Harbour Bridge and the Blue Mountains, while chef Neil Perry will be launching a branch of his Burger Project restaurants within the tower.

“We can’t wait to welcome our first guests to the new Skye Hotel Suites,” said the group’s CEO and co-founder, Iwan Sunito. “As we did with our innovative residential offerings, we are creating a distinctive hotel experience, delivering a new style of urban luxury that meaningfully connects world travellers with personalised, memorable experiences.”

Skye Hotel Suites is located in the west of Sydney approximately 300 metres from Parramatta Square and within walking distance from Westfield Parramatta station and the Heritage Parklands.

The Crown Group also plans to open two additional properties under the brand in the coming years, including in Sydney’s central business district and at Green Square.
