Melia Hotels International has opened its latest Me by Melia property in Miami’s downtown, close to the Pérez Art Museum, Adrienne Arsht Centre and the forthcoming relocated Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science.
The 129-room Me Miami features two swimming pools including an infinity-edge lap pool with views of Biscayne Bay, as well as a rooftop bar and lounge (scheduled to open this winter).
Other facilities include a fitness centre, 1,026 sqm of meeting space, Skin C Spa, and the brand’s signature STK steakhouse restaurant.
There are currently seven Me by Melia hotels in Miami, Milan, London, Ibiza, Mallorca, Cabo and Cancun, with forthcoming properties including Me Barcelona and Me Dubai (designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and set to open at the end of 2017).
