Four Seasons will open its first property in Kuwait early next year, housed within the mixed use Burj Alshaya development.

The 284-room hotel will feature indoor and outdoor pools, spa facilities, a fitness centre and yoga studio, and events space accommodating up to 2,000 people, including two ballrooms.

The property will also offer five food and beverage outlets, including a rooftop Pan-Asian restaurant, and an open kitchen Italian eatery.

The Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya will be located in downtown Kuwait City, within the 22-storey Eastern Tower of the Burj Alshaya development – the 43-storey Western Tower will become the corporate headquarters for the Alshaya group.

Commenting on the opening J. Allen Smith, President and CEO, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts said:

“Kuwait City is one of the most important commercial centres in the Gulf States, attracting regional and international business travellers, and a natural choice for Four Seasons as we continue to extend our presence across the Middle East.

“We are excited to partner with Alshaya and mark our entry into Kuwait as part of the Burj Alshaya complex, a stunning addition to the Kuwait City skyline that will transform luxury hospitality in this city.”

Four Seasons recently opened its first Abu Dhabi property on Al Maryah Island.
