Hilton Worldwide is to open its first Hilton Hotels and Resorts property in the Chilean capital Santiago.
The 401-room Hilton Santiago Las Condes will form part of a project to expand the city’s Parque Arauco Kennedy Shopping Mall complex, and is scheduled to open in 2021.
The hotel will feature two restaurants, three bars, a spa with heated indoor swimming pool, a 30th floor terrace with outdoor pool and sky bar, a 29th floor fitness centre, an executive lounge, and outdoor gardens on the 7th floor.
The shopping mall is located on Avenida Presidente Kennedy, in the upmarket La Condes district towards the north east of the city.
The extension of the complex will also offer a convention centre, new retail outlets, and 700 parking spaces.
Hilton currently operates two properties in Santiago de Chile – the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Santiago – Vitacura, and the Hilton Garden Inn Santiago Airport.
