Marriott International has announced the opening of the Courtyard Glasgow Airport with 114 guest rooms.

The hotel will be Courtyard by Marriott’s first location in Glasgow and second in Scotland, after the Courtyard Aberdeen Airport, which opened in 2013. A third hotel, Courtyard Edinburgh, will open later this year.

Courtyard launched in 1983 and was expanded by Marriott International as a mid-price hotel chain specifically aimed at business travellers.

The new hotel is located a five minute walk from Glasgow Airport and a 15 minute drive from the city centre.

Room listings begin with 20 sqm Deluxe rooms, which offer either one king or two twin beds, a safe, desk, iron and ironing board, a phone, TV and coffee and tea making facilities.
