Shangri-La International has announced it will open a second Hotel Jen-branded property in Beijing.
Due to open in January 2017, the Hotel Jen Beijing will be part of the China World Trade Centre development in Beijing’s Chaoyang CBD.
This will join the Hotel Jen Upper East Beijing, which launched in Chaoyang in 2015, and marks the fourth Hotel Jen-branded property to open in greater China (after properties in Shenyang and Hong Kong).

The 450-room Hotel Jen Beijing has been given a nature-inspired design by Stickman Design, with an open concept to appeal to the modern traveller. The property will also be outfitted with the latest air-purification system in order to combat Beijing’s poor air quality.
F&B options will include an all-day dining restaurant, which will serve local and Asian fare. Guests can also opt for the hotel’s gastropub and choose from a selection of beer and small bites.
Meanwhile, leisure facilities will consist of a 3,500 sqm fitness centre, with an indoor swimming pool, boxing room and fitness studio attached. There will also be a spa offering reflexology and other therapeutic treatments.

“As we continue to grow the Hotel Jen brand in Asia, we are excited to bring our friendly and energetic hospitality style into the heart of Beijing’s financial and business centre,” said Lothar Nessmann, chief operations officer at Hotel Jen.
“With its prime location, Hotel Jen Beijing will be ideal for independent business and leisure travellers who seek a fuss-free stay that offers quality, comfort and value coupled with distinctive local experiences.”
Further openings in Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia have also been announced.
