Hilton Worldwide has opened a dual-branded property in the US capital, featuring the group’s Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites brands.

The development is located at 501 New York Avenue NE in Washington DC’s NoMa district (North of Massachusetts Avenue), close to NoMa-Gallaudet U station on the city’s Metro’s Red Line.

The property features a total of 239 rooms – 125 at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Washington, DC NoMa Union Station features 125 rooms, and 114 at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington, DC NoMa Union Station.

Both hotels have access to joint facilities including a rooftop observatory, fitness centre and heated indoor pool with whirlpool.

There are separate check-in and lodging / dining areas – “each catering to the needs of their respective guests”.

Hampton guests benefit from free wifi and hot breakfast, and rooms featuring the brand’s signature Clean and fresh Hampton bed, HDTVs, a microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker, while extended stay Homewood Suites customers benefit from either studio or one-bed apartments, with fully-equipped kitchens, free wifi and hot breakfast.

Hilton recently announced plans to open a Canopy by Hilton property in Washington DC next year, located within a mixed use development in the suburb of Bethesda North.
