Accorhotels has opened a new 395-room heritage-inspired hotel in Singapore. The newly-built Mercure Singapore Bugis is located in the arts and cultural district of Bugis, close to a number of shopping destinations and Bugis MRT station.

The hotel’s exterior facade consists of red, blue, yellow and green panels that mirror the colours of the nearby housing estate. The lobby features a hint of Peranakan flair through the installation of motif tiles on the marble walls. The space also includes plush sofas, two iMac workstations and a six-seater table for informal meetings.

Meanwhile, each of the hotel’s guest rooms come with a Handy smartphone, which provides free unlimited mobile internet access and international calls to ten countries. The device is also loaded with a city guide app, as well as access to online publications via Press Reader.

Mercure Singapore Bugis is home to three F&B options. Guests can choose from all-day dining at Sauces by Chef Daniel, a “Grab and Go” menu at Bartistry@One22, and drinks at Staits Poolside.

Facilities include an infinity pool on level seven, a rooftop Sky Deck, and three function rooms.

To commemorate the opening, Mercure Singapore Bugis is offering a breakfast buffet for just S$5 (US$3.6) per person with every room booked. The offer is valid from now until December 31.
