Marriott International has debuted its Marriott Hotels brand in the Dutch city of Rotterdam, following the rebranding of the former Manhattan Hotel Rotterdam.

The Rotterdam Marriott has undergone “extensive renovation of its interiors to meet the needs of today’s travellers”, with an “upgraded look” to its 230 rooms and suites, and a lobby “transformed into a vibrant space to welcome guests and visitors to relax and socialise”.

Facilities include all day dining Pillars Bar and Restaurant, a fitness centre, executive lounge, business centre, and nearly 600 sqm of meetings space.

Marriott International currently operates seven properties in The Netherlands, across Rotterdam, The Hague, Breda and Amsterdam.

The group says that its Marriott Hotels brand it is “on a transformational journey to enable its guests to Travel Brilliantly”, with initiatives including redesigned guest rooms, mobile check-in and checkout, room ready alerts and the piloting of keyless entry with mobile devices.
