The forthcoming Triptych Miami Design District will be part of the Curio by Hilton collection when it opens next year.
The 296-room hotel will be located at 3601 North Miami Ave, around ten minutes’ drive from Miami International airport, and “at the intersection of the three hottest areas in Miami” – Midtown, Wynwood and The Design District.
The hotel’s name was inspired by the three sections of the property “that are meant to be appreciated together”, and features will include a sky lobby with pool deck, restaurant and bar, 40,000 square feet of meeting and function space, and “an extensive gallery space for both locals and visitors to enjoy”.
The ground and second floors of the mixed-use building will be dedicated to retail space, while floors three to six will offer “shared concept style” office space.
Hilton launched its Curio brand in 2014, initially focussing on building a four and five-star portfolio in the US (see news June 2014).
In November the group announced plans to open the first Curio by Hilton property in the UAE in 2018 (see news November 5, 2015).
