Hilton Worldwide is set to eliminate adult entertainment channels from their hotel rooms.
The international hospitality chain has stated that pornographic video-on-demand entertainment is no longer in line with the company’s vision and goals.
By next July, adult pay-per-view content will be removed from all Hilton properties worldwide.
The policy change followed the listing of Hilton Worldwide on the National Centre on Sexual Exploitation’s ‘Dirty Dozen List’, which calls out 12 “leading contributors to sexual exploitation”, including Facebook, Youtube and Cosmopolitan magazine.
The move brings the Hilton in line with other hospitality brands, such as Marriott, Ritz Carlton, and Nordic Choice Hotels, who have also opted to eliminate pornography from their in-room entertainment.
