Shangri-La celebrates Singapore’s golden jubilee with new offer

3 Mar 2015 by Clement Huang
To commemorate Singapore’s golden jubilee, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts is offering an attractive promotion to all Singaporean citizens and residents. The SG50 deal allows guests to enjoy a 50 per cent discount on the best available rate for every second night at any Shangri-La hotel or resort across major cities in Southeast Asia, Australia and Fiji. The offer comes with daily breakfast across all properties, as well as wifi and broadband access in all guestrooms. Participating properties include those from Bangkok, Boracay, Cairns, Chiang Mai, Cebu, Fiji, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Manila, Penang, Putrajaya, Singapore, Surabaya, Sydney, and Yangon. Reservations should be made before March 31 with stays valid up until June 30. Terms and conditions do apply with the maximum stay set at six nights. This effectively means that three of those nights will be priced at the promotional rate. An identification card or valid passport must also be presented as proof of citizenship and residency. “Singaporeans are amongst the well-travelled in the Asia Pacific region.  With more than 200,000 citizens living abroad, there is reason to celebrate with our fellow countrymen residing in various countries in honour of our nation’s golden jubilee,” said Charlene Cheng, vice president of sales and marketing at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.
