Hotel Éclat opens new property in Beijing

4 Mar 2013 by ReggieHo
Hotel Éclat has opened a new property in the Parkview Green complex in Chaoyang District, Beijing this month. Hotel Éclat Beijing was due to launch a year ago, but licensing issues delayed the opening. “We had some adjustments to the planning,” said Michelle Cheng, marketing communications manager of the property, “After negotiation with the government over the planning, the licensing issues have now been solved.” The hotel is housed in a threefold glass-and-steel tower that also consists of a shopping mall and an office building. It is located 30 minutes by car from Beijing Capital International Airport, and the city’s key cultural sites and business districts are also within easy reach. The hotel comprises 100 rooms, featuring 36 deluxe rooms and suites with terraces, and 18 deluxe suites with their own 5 metres x 2.5 metres indoor swimming pools. Room facilities include massage chairs, 3D 46’’ televisions and iPod docks with Bang & Olufsen speakers, and Illy coffee and Revolution tea are also featured. There are two in-house outlets: The lobby lounge provides beverage and afternoon tea while the Éclat Lounge, located on the 16th floor with city views, offers complimentary buffet breakfast and light refreshments. Meanwhile, the library and private meeting area on the 17th floor is available for all the guests to use. The hotel's glass structure is designed to be environmentally friendly: it keeps the indoor temperature constant and collects rainwater for non-potable use. Hotel Éclat also features original art works by such masters as Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol on every floor. It boasts the largest private Dali art collection in China.
