Hilton Worldwide gears up for St George’s Park openings

Hilton Worldwide is gearing up to open two properties within the forthcoming St George’s Park National Football Centre. Located outside Burton Upon Trent and around 30 miles from both East Midlands and Birmingham airports, the complex will feature new Hilton and Hampton by Hilton properties. Hilton at St George’s Park is currently accepting reservations from August 15, and will feature 142 rooms, free wifi access throughout the hotel, a ballroom holding up to 400 guests, a 90-seater lecture theatre, an all-day dining restaurant, and a health club with indoor swimming pool and treatment rooms. Meanwhile the Hampton by Hilton at St George’s Park is taking reservations from August 25, and will offer 86 rooms with all guests benefitting from complimentary wifi, hot breakfast and parking. The two hotels are situated within the forthcoming St George’s Park National Football Centre, which is due to officially open "within the next few weeks". The centre is set to become the Football Association’s base for the coaching, development and preparation of the England football teams.
