Doubletree rebrands LA’s Kyoto Grand

17 Jul 2012 by BusinessTraveller
Hilton Worldwide has rebranded the Kyoto Grand Hotel in Los Angeles under its Doubletree brand, as the property nears the completion of its renovation programme. Doubletree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown is located in the city’s Little Tokyo district, and has been undergoing “significant design and service upgrades to the hotel’s 434 guestrooms and suites, public spaces and corridors, indoor and outdoor meeting and event spaces, business and fitness centres, and its half-acre rooftop Japanese-style gardens”. Works include the addition of signature Sweet Dreams beds and 42-inch LCD TVs in the rooms, and the redesigned Azalea restaurant serving Asian-inspired California cuisine. The hotel has also refreshed its rooftop garden, now known as the Kyoto Gardens and available for event hire. The property is located close to landmarks including the Los Angeles City Hall and Civic Centre, the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Geffen Contemporary at MOCA.
