21 Nov 2011
lopera Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi has become the latest addition to Accor's MGallery Collection of properties, following the opening of the group's Hotel Muse Bangkok in September (See story here). This line of upscale character hotels by the French hospitality group was launched in 2008. Hotels in the MGallery collection are classified under the four different themes, namely "vision", "design", "history" and "exceptional location". Hotel de l'Opera is classified under the themes of exceptional location and design. With a total of 107 guestrooms and four l’Opera Grand Suites, the hotel is located on 29 Trang Tien Street, near the iconic Hanoi Opera House. Its architecture has a colonial style, boasting theatrical interior designs of jewel-tone accents along with classic opera motifs. Each guestroom also has lavish handpicked amenities, parquet flooring and Asian textiles and silk as part of the room's design. Views of the Hanoi Opera House can be enjoyed from the hotel's four suites. For cuisine, the hotel features all-day a-la-carte and buffet dining at Café Lautrec, fine dining restaurant Satine, and a bar called La Fee Verte. For meetings purposes, the hotel has four French salons with tailor-made services to facilitate small-to-medium sized conferences, product launches and private events.
