Mövenpick debuts in India movenpickbangalore International hospitality company Mövenpick has entered India with Mövenpick Hotel & Spa Bangalore. Jean Gabriel Pérès, the chain's president and CEO, said of their first foray into the subcontinent: "It is a contemporary property, which is in keeping with 21st century India and its rising stature on the global stage." The 182-room hotel is located in India’s Silicon Valley, a 30-minute drive from the airport. Guests who stay in executive club rooms or suites will enjoy a 24-hour rate, starting from their check-in time, which will benefit international travellers taking early morning or late-night flights. Amenities include seven meeting venues, a swimming pool, spa and fitness centre and four restaurants. A second Moevenpick is expected to come up in 2013 with the 110-room Mövenpick Dharamshala Resort & Spa in the northern Indian Kangra Valley.
