So you have taken the plunge and bought the latest iPad – now which accessory will best suit your needs? Cygnett’s Glam case is one for the girls, coming in either glossy red or black, and providing a more elegant alternative to the competition.
The design of the folio-style case means the iPad can be slipped inside and held in place by a neat frame and concealed strap, while allowing you full access to the display, ports and buttons, as well as the camera (for which there is a hole on the back for the lens) at the same time.
There is also a magnet down one side to help keep the case shut when in your bag and, with the help of three stand settings, the iPad can be placed in landscape mode at angles suitable for watching movies or doing presentations.
The case is well made and offers good protection for the iPad 2, and its slender dimensions (less than one-inch thick) make it easy to carry around, and take in and out of hand luggage at the airport. It also makes reading or emailing easier. The Glam comes with a two-year warranty.
PROS An attractive glossy case offering good protection and ergonomic design.
CONS For girls only.
