Tried and Tested: Be.ez LA Robe Club sleeve
Published: 20/06/2011 - Filed under: Tried & Tested » Technology » Tried & Tested » Features » Lifestyle » Technology »
Launched this year, Be.ez’s LA Robe Club sleeve comes in three sizes, making it compatible with Apple iPads, and 13.5-inch and 15.5-inch Macbooks and Macbook Pros. A sleeve like this can be more useful to those travellers who want to place their laptop in hand-luggage or a briefcase, and this one is a smart, affordable and masculine option.
Made of pliable but durable lightweight polyurethane and jersey fabric (also described as “shape-memory material”), the sleeve comes in black with saffron-colour lining and detailing. It also has handy pockets for cables and accessories. While this might not protect your gadget from serious drops, it will be fine for everyday bumps and knocks, as the sleeve cushions it well from impact.
PROS Affordable, well made and light.
CONS You have to carry it under your arm or in your hand-luggage, which isn’t always as helpful as a straightforward laptop bag.
PRICE From £24.95
