Wyndham Hotel Group is adding another two properties to its portfolio in Turkey, including its first hotel in the country outside Istanbul.
The five-star Wyndham Izmir Özdilek, which opens this week, stands at 20 storeys and has 219 rooms. It overlooks the Izmir Bay, within close proximity to the airport.
It features seven food and beverage outlets, including Izmir's only fine dining restaurant, ten meeting and banquet halls, a spa, a gym, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a sauna and a steam room.

The Wyndham Istanbul Levent, which is currently under construction, will become Turkey's fourth Wyndham when it opens next year.
Both hotels are opening as part of franchise agreements with Özdilek Otel Turizm Isletmeciligi Ve Ticaret Limited Sirketi, a company belonging to the Özdilek Holding group.
They will join the Wyndham Istanbul Kalamis Marina, which opened last December (see online news, January 7), and Wyndham Istanbul Petek, which opened earlier this summer.
Rui Barros, Wyndham's senior vice president and managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said: "Wyndham Izmir Özdilek is yet another exceptional opening and I look forward to working with our new partners, Özdilek Holding, to open our fourth Wyndham hotel in Turkey next year."
Last month, Wyndham opened its first hotel in Iraq (see online news, July 8).
