VLM to launch LCY-Nantes route

Air France will launch a twice-daily service from London City to Nantes in western France on April 27, under its recently acquired subsidiary VLM Airlines.
The French carrier operates from London City under its Citijet and VLM Airlines subsidiaries, and will ply the new route using VLM’s Fokker 50 aircraft, offering business and economy-class services.
Flights from London City will depart at 0825 (arriving at 1110) on weekdays and Saturdays, and 1745 (arriving at 2030) on weekdays and Sundays. Return flights from Nantes will depart at 0745 (arriving at 0830) on weekdays and Saturdays, and 1730 (arriving at 1815) on weekdays and Sundays.
Ryanair is currently the only carrier offering direct flights from London to Nantes, with a daily service from Stansted departing at 1455 and arriving at 1720.
