Virgin’s Flying Club partners with Tesco Clubcard
Published: 05/12/2011 - Filed under: News »
Members of Virgin’s Flying Club loyalty scheme can now earn miles when shopping using the Tesco Clubcard, thanks to a new partnership between the airline and supermarket giant.
Members will earn 2.5 miles for every £1 spent with Tesco (1.25 for every £1 spent on Tesco Fuel).
There’s also a bonus of 1,000 miles on offer for anyone who signs up to the Auto Opt in service before February 29, 2012, which automatically exchanges Clubcard points for Flying Club miles when each statement is produced. In addition, members can currently earn triple miles (7.5 miles for every £1 spent) on Tesco Mobile Pay Monthly top ups made before February 29.
Other airline-related schemes to partner with Tesco Clubcard include BA’s Executive Club, and the Avios loyalty scheme (previously known as Airmiles).
