United launches half-price business class sale

United Airlines has announced a half-price business class sale, with fares including £795 from London to New York.

The sale is running from May 29 to June 2, for travel between July 11 and August 31, and tickets must include a Saturday stay.

Fares include £845 to Boston, £939 to Chicago, £1,109 to Las Vegas and LA, £795 to New York, £1,109 to San Diego, and £1,165 to Seattle.

Wow! I did not plan on a trip to the US this summer, but it seems I have to reconsider that.

Valid for travel originating between 11 July, 2009 and 31 August, 2009. Notice the careful wording. As long as you travel out by 31 August, return travel can be later.

united may soon be able to add 3 more seats to its B-777 fleet with the new wastewater treatment system's weight reductions from CTI Aerospace. This should drop our prices even more. Same for British Airways. These prices from UAL are inviting for sure.
