Budget hotel chain has opened a new property located within Birmingham’s Bull Ring shopping centre, and is set to open two further hotels in the city before the end of the year.
The 210-room Birmingham Central Bull Ring Travelodge is the brand’s 18th hotel in the city, and will be followed by an airport property in September, and a further hotel located on Carrs Lane close to Birmingham Moor Street station.
Last month Travelodge announced plans to open 36 properties in partnership with five UK pub companies by 2015 (see online news April 18), and recently became the largest hotel brand in London with the opening of its latest property in Ealing (see online news March 30).
