15 Dec 2011 by BusinessTraveller

JAL's first Boeing Dreamliner has rolled out of the paint hangar, featuring “Japan Airlines” across the fuselage and the carrier’s crane logo on the tail.

JAL is set to take delivery of its first B787 Dreamliner early next year, and will operate the aircraft from Tokyo to routes including Boston, Delhi, Moscow and Beijing (see online news December 9).

The carrier has also revealed details of the layout of its B787 aircraft, with 144 seats in economy and 42 in business class – for more information and to see a seat plan of the aircraft click here.

Rival Japanese airline ANA was the first carrier to take delivery of the Dreamliner – for more details on the launch event in September, and the carrier’s inaugural 787 passenger flight between Tokyo and Hong Kong, click here.
