TAM to switch to Heathrow T1
Published: 18/03/2010 - Filed under: News »
Brazilian carrier TAM is to move from Heathrow T4 to the Star Alliance hub at Terminal 1 on March 28, ahead of its inauguration into the alliance later this year.
The move follows TAM’s addition of a first class product on its London-Sao Paulo flights (see online news February 4), and will see the airline join other Star members including Lufthansa, Swiss, Bmi and United in the revamped Terminal 1.
TAM is set to become the 27th member of the Star Alliance in May, with Aegean Airlines due to follow suit in June, and Air India scheduled to join the fold later this year.
