The Taj Mahal Palace and Tower, one of the scenes of the recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai, will reopen the Tower section of the hotel on December 21.
While the Palace section of the hotel (which is connected to the Tower through the main lobby) was damaged by fire, the Tower wing escaped unscathed, and will reopen at 1900 (local time) on December 21.
In an email thanking regulars for their “overwhelming support”, Taj said that guests would be able to enjoy signature restaurants Zodiac Grill, Souk, Masala Kraft, Shamiana and Starboard, as well as the facilities of The Chambers. There will be 268 rooms available, including nine suites and 26 Taj Club Rooms.
