T-Mobile launches T5 hotspot

Heathrow Terminal 5 is now the largest T-Mobile wifi hotspot in the UK, with coverage equivalent to 50 football pitches.
Visitors can log on throughout the terminal using their existing T-Mobile accounts, or buy purchasing one-off access at £5 per hour, or £10 for 24 hours. T-Mobile customers on voice plans can set up a HotSpot account and opt to pay via their monthly bill at a charge of 75p for ten minutes’ access.
The new T-Mobile hotspot
joins BT Openzone’s offering, which provides free wifi access in the six BA
lounges at T5 (see online news March 28), and the exisiting T-Mobile hotspot
onboard the Heathrow Express (see online news November 9, 2006).
