Starwood launches one-million points giveaway

Starwood’s SPG loyalty scheme is giving away one million points to the member who completes the most stays at Starwood hotels in Africa and the Indian Ocean between now and the end of the year.
The promotion is valid for stays at participating Sheraton, Le Meridien, Luxury Collection and Four Points by Sheraton properties across Africa and the Indian Ocean, with all stays between June 8 and December 31 counting towards the total. Members must pre-register for the giveaway by July 31.
The member with the most stays during this period will win one million SPG points, with a further 300,000 points going to the member with the second most stays, and 200,000 points for the third-placed member.
In addition all members who have registered for the promotion and complete at least one stay at a participating hotel, will go into a prize draw to win either 50,000, 30,000 or 20,000 SPG points. Members will get one entry into the prize draw for each stay made during the promotional period.
