Starwood has opened its first hotel in the Czech capital, the Sheraton Prague Charles Square Hotel.
The hotel features a total of 160 rooms and suites (122 deluxe and executive rooms and 38 junior, premium and duplex suites), and is housed within a renovated building close to Charles Square. Room facilities include the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed, flatscreen TV and wifi internet access, while Club rooms enjoy upgraded amenties, complimentary bottled water, and free access to both the fitness centre and the Club Lounge.
The building’s former courtyard has been converted into a double height lobby, which also features the Diamond bar and Sheraton’s signature Link@Sheraton space, designed to allow guests to “work, relax, unwind and connect”. The street-facing Brasserie Delice serves French dishes and has live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, while Sweet Coffee Cup Café is open all day and offers pastries as well as hot beverages.
For meetings there are two function spaces (the largest measuring 106-sqm), and a rooftop terrace is available for private hire.
The hotel is offering special opening rates of €150 per room per night for stays until April 30. This offer includes breakfast, 4pm checkout, free use of the fitness centre, sauna, whirlpool and relaxation area, double SPG points, and free internet access at Sheraton@Link.
It’s a busy time for hotel openings in Prague, with The Augustine (a Rocco Forte Collection property) due to open in May (see online news February 26).
