Rezidor’s Park Inn brand has announced a second hotel in Manchester, due to open in 2010.
The 11-storey Park Inn Old Trafford will be situated 10 minutes from the city centre and 20 minutes from the international airport, and will feature 226 guest rooms, a restaurant, bar, meeting facilities and a gym. The hotel is located within the business district of the city, close to Trafford Park Industrial Estate, an area with more than 1,400 companies.
The property will become the second Park Inn location in Manchester, with another property in the Greenquarter district of the city due to open in mid 2009. Rezidor already has a presence in Manchester with a Radisson SAS hotel linked to the airport.
The Park Inn Old Trafford will be developed in cooperation with Vineyard Hotels and follows Rezidor’s announcement of the Park Inn Frankfurt, also due to open in 2010 (see online news March 8).
