SAS doubles checked luggage allowance

Economy Extra and business class customers with SAS will soon be able to check in twice as much luggage as the current limits, and economy passengers will also see their free allowance increase.
For tickets bought for travel after October 1 Economy Extra passengers will be able to check in two bags free of charges, up to a maximum of 23kg each, while business class travellers will be able to check in two bags up to 32kg each. In both classes the current free limit is one bag at the repsective weights.
From the same date economy passengers will be able to check in one bag up to 23kg, an increase of three kilos on the current limit.
SAS and its partners Blue1 and Wilderoe fly from seven cities in the UK and Ireland, to destinations including Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Stavenger, Bergen, Gothenberg and Helsinki.
