Workspace provider Regus has launched a business lounge in a Welcome Break service station on the M4.
The high-tech Regus Express hub is located at Membury Services, ten miles outside Swindon, and opened last week.
It offers drivers a lounge with "ThinkPods (private workstations), wifi, iMacs and complimentary refreshments as well as bookable meeting rooms".
Phil Kemp, Global Managing Director at Regus Third Place, said: "Flexible working has created huge demand for professional facilities that bridge the gap between the traditional office and the home office, so-called 'third places'.
"We are intent on expanding our network of third places that make flexible working more productive, and our partnership with Welcome Break marks another step towards that goal."
Earlier this year, Regus launched a trial of 70 workhubs located in Shell service stations around Berlin (see online news, March 2013).
The group also recently opened business hubs in four Staples stores in Swindon, Reading, Sheffield and Birmingham, and last summer announced plans to open Businesspoints at Bern and Geneva rail stations in Switzerland, and at motorway service stations in the south of England.
