Rezidor Hotel Group’s Radisson brand is to make its debut in Wales next month, with the opening of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cardiff.
The 21-storey property will become the tallest hotel in the Welsh capital when it opens in June, and is the third Rezidor offering in Cardiff, joining two Park Inn properties.
The 215-room hotel is located on Bute Terrace, close to the Millennium Stadium, and around ten minutes’ walk from Cardiff Bay. Features include Filini bar and restaurant, six meeting rooms including a 264-sqm ballroom, and spa and fitness facilities.
The hotel is now taking reservations from June 10, in time for the first Ashes Test which is taking place at Cardiff’s Swalec Stadium in July.
Other Rezidor openings in the UK this year include the Radisson Blu Hotel, Bristol, as well as Park Inn hotels in Preston, Manchester, Aberdeen, Rotheram and Southend-on-Sea. The group will also welcome its first Hotel Missoni property in Edinburgh next month (see online news March 23).
