Qatar Airways has announced start dates for five new routes, with flights to Copenhagen beginning on March 30, and Barcelona on June 7.

First up will be a daily service to Bengaluru on February 22, followed by a four-times weekly service to Copenhagen on March 30.

Next up will be the Turkish capital of Ankara, again with four flights per week, before a daily service to Tokyo (via Osaka) commences on April 26. Flights to Osaka are currently routed via Seoul, which will become a daily non-stop service from March 28.

Finally daily flights to Barcelona will commence on June 7. Qatar is also due to start flights to Sydney, although the exact date has yet to be announced.

The carrier is currently offering free first class upgrades for business class customers on routes between London and Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Kuwait and Muscat, via the carrier’s base in Doha – for more information see online news January 22.
