Qatar Airways has released timings for its forthcoming Doha-Melbourne service, with a three times-weekly service starting on December 6, rising to daily from January 1 next year.

Between December 6 and the end of the year flight QR030 will operate on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, departing Doha at 0045 and arriving into Melbourne at 2225. The return leg QR031 will leave Melbourne at 2355, landing back into Doha at 0625 the next day. From January 1 the flights will operate daily, with the same timings.

Qatar says that it will offer flights from both London (daily) and Manchester (four times per week) to Melbourne via Doha, which it says will be “one of the fastest routes to Oz”. The carrier’s current timetable of flights from London includes daily flight QR012 departing at 1505 and arriving into Doha at 2359, while from Manchester four times-weekly flight QR046 departs at 1430 and arrives into Doha at 2330.
