Qatar Airways has launched a mobile application for Blackberry, Android and iPhone devices, allowing customers to search and book flights, check flight status and visit the online check-in facility.
Customers can download the application at qatarairways.com/mobile and follow the links to the iPhone, Blackberry or Android smartphone app store. Qatar has also created a mobile version of its website, with basic flight information, worldwide contact details and online check-in.
Qatar Airways chief executive officer Akbar Al Baker said: “Mobility is high on the list of our customers to have access to important travel and flight information when and where they want it, so we have now given them a new service that meets that demand. As our customers’ needs evolve, so will the services and products that we offer.”
