Premier Inn is running a “Gifts Reunited” service for guests who have accidentally left presents behind in one of the group’s hotel rooms over the festive period.

The budget hotel chain has detailed the service on its Twitter and Facebook pages with the following message:

"Don't forget, we're now running a Gifts Reunited service from today until 18th Jan 2011!

"We had a selection of interesting gifts left behind in our hotels over the holidays and we want to try and reunite them with their rightful owners! If you have lost any Christmas presents, do get in touch with welisten@premierinn.com and title your email "lost property" and we will do our best to get them back to you!"

Maybe guests left behind the presents they didn't want and won't be clamouring for their return
