Oman Air has launched online check-in from the majority of its international destinations, adding to its list of recent technological innovations including onboard internet and mobile phone services.
The carrier unveiled provisions for internet accessand mobile phone calls on its long-haul A330 flights earlier this month (see online news March 2), and has now launched online check-in for “travellers departing from the majority of Oman Air’s international destinations, including London Heathrow”.
The check-in service is available between 24 hours and three hours before departure. The launch is the latest step in the transformation of Oman Air, with the carrier having unveiled new economy, business and first seating onboard its Airbus A330 aircraft last year (see online news October 8, 2009).
