Oetker Collection expands with new Marrakech property

9 Oct 2011 by BusinessTraveller

Five-star hotel operator the Oetker Collection has announced its first management contract will open in March 2012 in Marrakech.

The 41-villa and suite property is a 20-minute drive outside Marrakech, close to the Taj property (for the story, Taj replaces Mandarin for Marrakech hotel, click here).

The drive might not bother the guests however, since the property has its own private jet service, which takes them from Casablanca Airport to the hotel in 30 minutes. The hotel also offers limousine transfers to guests from various parts of Morocco.

The Palais Namaskar is Oetker Collection’s second hotel outside Europe, following the announcement the group will open Le Bristol Abu Dhabi in 2013 (for the story, click here).

The hotel is set in 40,000sqm of Balinese-inspired gardens, with cascading water features and lakes, offering “Feng Shui-inspired architecture with delicate touches of Moorish and the Andalusian” along with a 650sqm world-class spa.

The Oetker Collection comprises Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa, Baden-Baden, Le Bristol Paris, Hôtel du Cap Eden-Roc, Cap d’Antibes and Château Saint-Martin & Spa, Vence.

The agreement to manage Palais Namaskar was signed recently between Mr Philippe Soulier, Developer and Owner of Palais Namaskar, and Mr Frank Marrenbach, CEO of the Oetker Collection.
