Accor’s Novotel brand has opened its third hotel in Munich, and its first located within the grounds of the city’s international airport.

The Novotel Munich Airport is described as the brand’s new flagship property, and features 257 rooms, six conference rooms with views of the runway, a fourth floor executive lounge, fitness and sauna facilities, a restaurant with outdoor terrace, and a lounge area with flight departure boards and Apple Mac computers.

Accor lists the hotel as being 200m from the airport, and the property joins the Kempinski Hotel Munich Airport within the grounds of the airport, with other brands close to the facility including Movenpick, NH Hotels, Sheraton and Tulip Inn.

While it maybe on the grounds of the city’s international airport, it's not walking distance to the terminals like the Kempinski.

You either need to take the public bus route 635 (goes every 20 minutes) or the S1 / S8 train to "Besucherpark" and than walk over.

So it's not really near to the terminal, sure in the airport grounds but no way easy to reach.
