No.1 Traveller launches new a la carte menus

8 Mar 2012 by BusinessTraveller

Airport lounge operator No.1 Traveller has partnered with British chef Michael Nadra to create a new paid-for a la carte food menu at its lounges at Heathrow and Gatwick.

The new seasonal menus will be offered alongside the complimentary food and beverage selections, and will include dishes such as grilled chicken teriyaki with nori seaweed sticky rice and Japanese salad, and the No.1 burger, served in ciabatta with spicy cherry tomato salsa and thick-cut chips.

Dishes are priced between £6 and £12, and include vegetarian and gluten/dairy-free options. Nadra is the chef patron at Restaurant Michael Nadra in Chiswick.

No.1 Traveller opened new lounges at Gatwick North and Heathrow T3 last year, and recently announced plans to increase capacity at its UK lounges ahead of the London 2012 Olympics (see online news February 10).
